 Sure, it's a consumer lens, so plastic build, etc... But look at that price point. That's less than 3rd party wide zooms!

 

I wish Nikon (and Pentax and Sony) would offer something similar. Not all of us need L-Series or ED or ultra fast. We just want ultra wide zoom.
