Meteor Shower Update

Well, it came and went. And irritated a lot of people in the process. Pretty impressive performance for a small unknown comet!

The major complaints come from skygazers who are annoyed at how the media (even science media) super hyped this event. According to some sources, we were supposed to be anywhere from 1000 an hour (storm), to about 50/100 an hour (shower). While we were treated to some lovely photos, the meteor frequency was barely more than any night's sporadic activity.

Oh well, that's space for ya! Completely unpredictable. I'll still stay up to watch the next time. You never know what the next unexpected fantastic event will be.

One other plus: I found several more remote viewing websites.

Keep Looking Up!
